Ernest W Kohlenberger's Obituary
Ernest W. Kohlenberger, 81, of Festus, MO., born January 1, 1934 in East Carondelet, Ill., passed away February 27, 2015 at Mercy Jefferson Regional Hospital in Crystal City, MO.
Mr. Kohlenberger retired from Ameren. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Mr. Kohlenberger was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lawrence & Elrod, nee Kunkel, Kohlenberger, his son, Ernest Kohlenberger Jr. and his daughter, Angel Milliken.
Mr. Kohlenberger is survived by his wife, Hannelore Kohlenberger, nee Buss, his children, Mike Kohlenberger, Marty (Sherry) Kohlenberger & Dave (Debbie) Kohlenberger, his sister, Delores (Bob) Ladyman. He is also survived by his grandchildren, other relatives & friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Matt Friz, officiating.
Interment will be in Palmier Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Ill.
