Erna Kremmel's Obituary
Erna was a homemaker and a member of Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, Stookey Home Extension, Millstadt PTA, a Girl Scout Leader, an avid card player, and enjoyed dancing.
Erna was preceded in death by her parents, Oswald and Lydia (nee Huwer) Muskopf, granddaughter Kelly Gilbertson, and a son-in-law Mark Gilbertson.
Erna is survived by her husband of 66 years whom she married on June 20, 1948, Vernon Kremmel, Daughters, Judy Gilbertson, Marge (Robert) Wolfmeier, Nancy (Tim) O’Donnell, Grandsons, Kyle (Kim) Gilbertson, Clark Gilbertson, Eric (Beth) Wolfmeier, Neal (Amber) O’Donnell, Granddaughters, Jill Wolfmeier, Julie and Abby O’Donnell, Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Noah and Charlotte Gilbertson, Isabelle and George Wolfmeier and Isla O’Donnell.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Freeburg Care Center for their loving care and support.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriners Hospital.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millsadt, Illinois.
Funeral Service will be Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Weber officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Illinois.
