Ermantine C. Gruninger's Obituary
Ermantine was born on May 16, 1913 in Cahokia, Ill., the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Levin) Range. She had retired as a cashier at Famous-Barr, St. Louis, MO. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and had been very active in many church affairs: President - Belleville Diocesant Council of Catholic Women, Ill. State Treasurer - Council of Traffic Safety, President - Newman Aux. Belleville Diocese (35 yrs.), Past President of the Altar Sodality at Immaculate Conception Church, Ladies' Retreat League at King's House, Belleville, Ill., Pope Paul VI Pro-Ecclesia Award (1976), and Charter Member and former Regent - Daughters of Isabella - Bishop Zurowest Circle. She was married to the late Charles Gruninger on October 5, 1933 in Cahokia, Ill.
