Eric S. Mueller, 43, of Millstadt, IL, born March 7, 1971 in Belleville, IL, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Belleville, IL.
Eric was an Electrician through Local IBEW #309 in Collinsville, IL.
Eric was a 25 year member of the Millstadt Volunteer Fire Department, He was a member of the Millstadt Jaycees, and Zion Evangelical Church.
Eric loved traveling, the outdoors, home brewing, tailgating with his RAMS family, and enjoying NASCAR with his brother and close friends. He was the best father and husband he could be to his family who loves him and will miss him dearly. Eric lived life to the fullest, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone he met. 'Norm' will be always remembered his smile, his gentle eyes, and his giving spirit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Maggie and Norah Mueller.
Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Willard and Ophelia Mueller, maternal grandparents Raymond and Vera Baltz, and his uncle William Baltz.
He is survived by his loving wife Marcia Mueller (nee Brune), daughters Maggie and Norah, parents Orville and Janet (nee Baltz) Mueller, brother, Mike (Kim) Mueller, Aunt and Godmother, Gloria Baltz, grandmother-in-law, Hilda Schaefer, father and mother-in-law, Richard (Norma) Brune, brother and sisters-in-law, Monica (Paul) Winkeler, Maribeth (Chris) Keeven, nieces and nephews, Brad (Abigail) Rolland, Abbie Roland, Baby Carson, Lindsay Mueller, Madison and Andrew Winkeler, Clare, Gwendolyn, and Jillian Keeven, uncle-in-law, Msgr. Ken Schaefer, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill. and on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. The will be a fire department walk through and prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Funeral service will be on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, Ill., with Rev. Darrell Weber, Fr. Marvin Volk and Msgr. Ken Schaefer, officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Ill.
