Elisabeth "Betty Anne" Bantz's Obituary
Elisabeth H. "Betty Anne" (Hewitt) Bantz, 72 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Merton and Lona (Locke) Hewitt. Betty Anne was an artist in many areas. She was a singer, composer and guitar player, whose deep, unwavering Christian faith in all aspects of her life touched the hearts of many. She worked as an editor and published four novels. In the visual arts she worked with graphic design, house-plans, painting and drawing.She was married to Harold Bantz, who survives her. They were married on June 24, 1961, at Aurora, IL.
