Mrs. Vollmer was preceded in death by her husband: William R. Vollmer whom she married June 7, 1943 and who passed away March 22, 1971, her parents: Charles and Mary Cortner-Bernius, her step-father: George Bernius, her two sisters: Gertrude Roth Englerth & Viola Kunkelmann, her brothers-in-law: Clarence Briesacher, Aloys Roth and William Englerth & Larry Kunklemann, her sisters-in-law: Virginia Briesacher & Martha Vollmer. Mrs. Vollmer is survived by her sister: Theresa Vogel of Du Quoin, Ill, her brother-in-law: Gene Vollmer of Millstadt, Ill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Mrs. Vollmer was retired from Millstadt Consolidated School where she worked in the cafeteria for 20 years and the Lincoln Home where she worked for 11 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Ill.
