Edna C Voss' Obituary
Edna Voss, nee Junge, 91 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on September 30, 2018 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, IL. She was born February 4, 1927, in Campbell Hill, IL.
Edna and her husband, Ralph owned the Associated Grocer for many years.
Edna was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL., a member of St John's Evening Guild, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She shared her gift of singing at over 125 weddings.
Surviving are her nephew, Roger Hinnerichs (Mary Jane); Four Great-Nephews, Kyle Hinnerichs, Corey Hinnerichs, Clay Hinnerichs, and Stephen Hinnerichs; Three Great-Nieces, Heidi, Heather, and Sharon Hinnerichs; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty eight years, Ralph H. Voss, her parents, Fred and Anna Junge, her brother, Elmer Junge, her sister, Norma Hinnerichs, sister-in-law, Dorothy Voss, and her nephew, Ray Hinnerichs.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2018, 9:00 am - 11:00 am, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, October 4, 2018, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, with Pastor Mark Nebel and Pastor Russell Koen officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
