Dear sweet Edna! How I enjoyed visiting her at Oak Hill. She spoke lovingly about her family, her faith and membership at St Paul in Floraville and the good ole times growing up on the farm! I knew her family quite well as I taught the granddaughters in preschool at Millstadt Kids Club. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize we were related through the Gasser surname but it makes sense now, as she knew my mother had been confirmed at St Paul also. The last time I saw Edna she had lots to share about the recent marriage of her granddaughter, which by now is likely a year ago but the China virus robbed us all of so many special moments with our seniors! I wish comfort and peace to the family! Edna was a good friend and she will be sorely missed!
