OBITUARY
Earline O Johnson
Earline O. Johnson, nee Nurnberger 72 years of Du Quoin, IL., formerly of Red Bud, IL., passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at DuQuoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in DuQuoin, IL. She was born March 12, 1947, in Sparta, IL.
Earline was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Baldwin, IL. She worked as a CNA for Randolph County Nursing Home in Sparta, IL. She enjoyed collecting Angels and enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Sparky.
Surviving are her sons, Curtis Everding & Chris (Crystal Kempfer) Everding, her daughter, Carline (John) Fulton; her grandchildren, Tori (Matt) Miller, Valen Fulton, Amber & Bridget Fulton, Isabella Kempfer, Skylar Everding and Jacob Everding, her great-grandchild, Jayden Miller, Crystal Kempfer's children, Breanna Kempfer & Jamie Kempfer; her brother, Roger Nurnberger, her sister, Bonnie Wedel; her sister-in-law, LuAnn Nurnberger; her step brother, Curtis (Chris) Miller; her step-sisters, Brenda (Mike) Nelson, Sharon (Cletus) Kelley, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Johnson, her fiance, Kevin Jester, her parents, Earl J. & Augusta Ona, nee Worthen, Nurnberger, her brother, Gary Nurnberger, her step-mother, Doris Nurnberger and a son in infancy.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Louis Children's Hospital or Cardinal Glennon Hospital.
