Earl W. Wilde, 85 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at the Columbia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Columbia, IL. He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of William and Gertrude (Hutsch) Wilde. He was married to Jeanne (Buehler) Wilde, who survives him. They were married on June 20, 1953, in Columbia, IL.He had worked at Progressive Recovery Industries, Dupo, IL, had been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 6165 - 3rd Degree, Columbia Gymnastic Association, American Legion Post 581, and Sheet Metal Workers Local 268, Caseyville, IL. He had served as a Navy Veteran of World War II Earl was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He touched many lives, always giving of his time and many talents to everyone in his church and community.
