E. Mae Deskey, 78 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on December 23, 2017 at her residence, in Dupo, IL. She was born September 12, 1939, in Alma, GA..
Mae married Harry C. Deskey on February 16, 1959 and they were happily married for 58 years until he passed away September 25, 2017. She was an avid gardener and loved to sew many clothes and beloved objects for family.
Surviving are her three daughters, Connie Deskey of Bastrop, TX., Carol (Mark) Chandler of Dupo, Ill., and Barb (Ron) Muhich of Liberty Hill, TX., her brother, Walter "Buddy" (Barb) Dennis, sisters, Lily Holden and Betty Nettles, boyfriend Al, her brother-in-law, John (Pat) Cannon of Auburn IN., her eleven grandchildren, Jodi (Steve) Francis, Michael Zaricor, Christina (Doug) Kenner, Ronnie Muhich, Shannon Muhich, Matt Evans, Jessica and Ashton Borgardts, Jamie Evans, Brian (Krista) Chandler and Bill (Rachael) Chandler; her eight great-grandchildren, Juli Fuzfa, Kaiti Kenner, Chance Devirse, Ty Hungerford, Dakota Hungerford, Justin Miner, Austin Borgardts, Avery Guzman, Austin Francis and Tanner Francis along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry C. Deskey, her parents, Otis Lee and Bessie, nee Rigby, Dennis, and her son John Deskey
