Dr. Edilberto F. Maglasang, 89 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village, St. Louis, MO. He was born in the Phillipines. He was married to June, nee Volkmann, Maglasang, who survives him. They were married on May 19, 1960, in East St. Louis, IL. Dr. Maglasang was the second of 9 brothers and sisters. He had earned his Medical Degree from St. Thomas University in Manila. He served the Columbia community with his medical practice for 38 years and was on the staff at St. Elizabeth and Memorial Hospitals in Belleville, IL. He was a founding board member of the Columbia National Bank and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. Dr. enjoyed playing golf at the Waterloo Country Club and watching Gibault High School basketball games.The Maglasang family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the caregivers at St. Alexian Brothers - Lansdowne, and the staff of SSM Hospice..
