Dorothy A. Muskopf, nee Kempf, 103 years old of Dupo, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Dupo, IL. She was born October 20, 1917, in St. Clair County, IL.
Dorothy was a 103 year member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in East Carondelet, IL., ladies aid at Holy Cross and worked the Apple Butter Festival at Holy Cross.
Surviving are her son, Wayne (Elaine) Muskopf, her daughter, Annalee (Steven) Barker, her grandchildren, Stephani (John) Klopmeyer, W. Jeffrey (Kathryn) Muskopf, Christopher (Anne) Muskopf, Matthew (Lynette)Barker, Luke (Autumn) Barker & Dave (Kate) Barker, her great grandchildren, Derek, Cassie & Jack Klopmeyer, Beatrix & Dorothea Muskopf, Dalton, Phyllis, Rosalee, Wesley, Colleen & George Barker, she is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton W. Muskopf, her parents, Charles & Caroline, nee Hoeffsteter, Kempf, her brothers, Lester Kempf & Omer Kempf, her sisters, Corinne Nolte & Viola Kempf in infancy and her great grandchild, Jeremiah Muskopf.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. and Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in East Carondelet, IL.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in East Carondelet, IL., with Rev. Ralph Laufer, officiating.
All CDC guidelines will be followed, and masks will be required.
Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Millstadt, IL.
