Mrs. Noethen was preceded in death by her parents: Henry & Elizabeth, nee Diehl, Baltz, who were the founders of Baltz's Tavern in East Carondelet, IL., her brothers & sisters: Frieda (Walter) Lopinot, Lydia "Lillie" Baltz, Alfred "Mickey" (Hallie) Baltz, Roland "Sooner" Baltz, & Violet (Walter) Bieller. Mrs. Noethen is survived by her husband: Lawrence "Jack" Noethen of Columbia, IL., whom she married in Waterloo, IL. and was married to for 69 years, her daughter: Pat Thompson of Dupo, IL., her granddaugther: Teresa (Brett) Rayborn of Columbia, IL., her grandson: David (Susan) Thompson of Collinsville, IL., her 3 great grandchildren: Dayne Ellen & Elle Ray Rayburn, & Emily Kay Thompson, her sister-in-law: Viola Baltz, nee Hoock, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, and also survived by other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Research or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
