Dorothy L. Junge's Obituary
Dorothy L. Junge was born on September 4, 1925 of Herman Dieckhoff and Anna, nee Heob, Dieckhoff at Steeleville, Illinois and departed this life on May 22, 2017 at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Dorothy was received into the Kingdom of God through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism in September 1925, administered by Pastor Herman Pontow at St. John Evangelical Church of Bremen, Illinois. She confirmed that baptismal covenant at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bremen, Illinois.
She was united in Holy Marriage with Arlin L. Junge on February 8, 1947 at St. John Evangelical Church in Bremen, Illinois. Five children were born of their union: Mary, Glenda, Donna, Floyd and Debra.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Baldwin, IL. and American Legion Post 619 Ladies Auxiliary in Baldwin, IL.
She leaves to mourn her passing and to celebrate her victory in Christ her daughters, Mary, Glenda, Donna (David) Budde, Debra (Scott) Tuthill and her son, Floyd, her grandchildren, Sean (Cherille) Junge, Ryan (Friend, Stacie) Tuthill, Zach (Deanne) Junge, Emily Schewe, Brent (Jessica) Budde & Renee (Mike) Kremer, her great grandchildren, Alex, Kaden, Aiden & Ellie Junge, Tyler, Kaitlin & Madison Budde & Allyson Kremer, she is also survived by other relatives and many friends..
She was preceded in death by parents, Herman & Anna, nee Heob, Dieckhoff, her brother, Wilbert Dieckhoff and her husband, Arlin L. Junge.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL and on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, IL.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, IL., with Rev. Raymond Holman, officiating.
Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Baldwin, IL.
