Dorothy M. Harris' Obituary
Dorothy Harris, 87 years of East Carondelet, IL., born October 27, 1930 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Dorothy married the love of her life Norman Harris on December 12, 1953 and were married until he passed on May 17, 2013. She retired from Gordon's Jewelry Store as a Sales Associate. Dorothy loved to travel, loved the beach, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her Daughter, Cheryl (Gregory) Horn; her Son, Brent (Amelia) Harris; her Grandchildren, Lauren Horn, Logan & Gwendylyn Harris; niece, Almeda (Paul) Walker, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman James Harris; her parents James and Minnie Lee, nee Mathis, Bradley, siblings, Cora Lee (Richard) Hoisington, J.D. (Juanita) Bradley, William Carl (Sue) Bradley and niece, Colleen Redlien.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Dupo in Dupo, IL with Pastor Roger Reid officiating.
Entombment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
