Dorothy C. Keim's Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Marie Kleinschmidt and sister-in-law Bernice Fichter. Survivors include her daughters: Charlene (Otto) Faulbaum of Millstadt and Charlotte (Doug) McDermand of Charleston, Illinois; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Kevin) Hagarty, Rebecca Watson-Keiser (Troy Keiser), Kelly McDermand, and Ryan McDermand; step-grandsons: James (Robyn) Faulbaum and Timothy Faulbum; great-grandchildren: Alexandra Watson, Garrett Hagarty, Joseph Watson, Bridget Hagarty and Braylen McDermand; a brother, Monroe (Edna) Kalbfleisch; sister-in-law, Rosetta Reeves; and brother-in-law, Ronald (Geraldine) Keim. Dorothy was a homemaker, talented seamstress, and proud "farm wife". With her husband, Walter, she tended their farm fields, livestock, and vegetable garden but always made time to help family and friends in need. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt and a charter member of Millstadt Sister Cities. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Sandra Marie Breitschaft Foundation for the Millstadt Meals on Wheels Program or Oak Hill Activity Fund.
