Doris Woods' Obituary
Doris Woods, nee Weber, 80, of East Carondelet, Ill. born August 13, 1935 in East Carondelet, Ill., passed away Sunday September 6, 2015 with her family by her side.
Mrs. Woods retired from White Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Clara, nee Mantel, Weber, her sisters, Marjorie Sinclair & Lois Sellinger and her brothers, Maurice Weber, Wilber Weber & Gilbert Weber.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Woods, whom she married September 10, 1954, her children, Larry Woods, Jim (Lori) Woods and Traci (Herb) Beckerle, her grandchildren, Tyler Beckerle, Chelci (Fiance: Nathan Kremmel) Beckerle, Haley (Brandon) Floyd, Brittany (Fiance: Tyler Stretz) Woods, her great grandchildren, Vayda Stretz & Tucker Floyd, her sister, Clara Bacon, her brother, Donald (Barb) Weber, her sister-in-law, Marcine (Ron) Altschuh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends & family.
She was a devoted & loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was very involved with them and spent many years watching their sporting events or cooking with her grandkids.
Her home was filled with love, laughter, family and friends. She was also an avid cardinal fan.
She will be greatly missed, always loved and in our hearts forever.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the Dupo High School Athletics.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., and on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral will be on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Todd Mushaney, officiating.
Interment will be in Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia, Ill.
