Doris K. Schaller's Obituary
Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and her deceased husband were co-owners in Schaller Farm's, she was president of Schaller Trucking and a great supporter and participant of her sons' auction business. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church, the Bluff Grange, Zion Women's Fellowship, St. Clair County Home and Community Education, VFW Post 7980 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Clair County Farm Bureau. She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter A. Schaller, her parents: Alfred and Matilda, nee Vogel, Rapp, and her in-laws: Walter and Alma, nee Sutter, Schaller. She is survived by her two sons: Kevin Schaller of Millstadt and friend Carol Schaefer and her daughter Ashley Schaefer, Brad (Eileen) Schaller of Millstadt, grandchildren: Travis Schaller, Brooke Schaller and Dylan Schaller, sister: Clara "Corky" Mehrmann, brother: Walter (Diane) Rapp, brother-in-law: Melvin Schaller, sister-in-law: Shirley (Norman) Simmonds, and nieces, nephews and many friends. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion Evangelical Church, American Cancer Society or to the donor's choice.
