Dora E. Crouch's Obituary
Dora E. Crouch, nee Maehrlein, 87, of Dupo, Ill., born, March 22, 1927 in Munich, Germany, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Fern and Russell de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County, MO.
Dora was retired from the Dupo Bi-Rite as a checkout clerk. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Dupo, Illinois.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Crouch, her parents, Karl and Karoline, nee Wolfe, Maehrlein, her son-in-law, Elmer Rolfes, her brother, Robert Maehrlein and her sister, Marianne Slingland.
Dora is survived by her son, Charles P. (Theresa) Crouch, her daughter, Carolyn Rolfes, her grandchildren, Shannon Rolfes, Andrea Thomas and Erica Crouch. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers to make a memorial contribution to the First Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Robert Lee, officiating.
Private family inurnment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
