Donna L'Hote's Obituary
Donna L’Hote, nee Rose, 78, of Chisago City, MN, formally Belleville IL, born June 13, 1944, in East St. Louis, Ill., died July 31, 2022 in Chisago City, MN .
Mrs. L’Hote graduated from Belleville Township High School and worked in Customer Service for many years at a variety of different establishments. She loved her family, enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and enjoyed lake life. She was a member of the Swansea Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. L’Hote. Parents Vernon E. and Marie Rose; a brother, Larry D. Rose; and her sister-in-law Margaret L’Hote Dixon.
Surviving are her three children, Alice (Kurt) Morgenweck of Stacy, MN, Anthony (Margaret) L'Hote of Columbia, IL, Michael (Laura) L'Hote of Jasper, AL.
Eight grandchildren, Stephen Gordon, Zachary Gordon and Nicholas (Stephany) Gordon, Jacob L’Hote, Brianna (Tyler) Rueter, Alexis L’Hote, Jazmin L'Hote, and Ethan L'Hote.
Two great granddaughters, Ruby Gordon and Avery Rueter.
Brother in law’s, Edward L’Hote and Walter Dixon. Sister, Sandra (Jerry) Anna, as well, nephew Bryan Rose and nieces Shelly Knefelkamp, Debbie Dielschneider, Chryste Andrews.
Close friends, Jean Guest, Mary Boden, LaVonne Mundy, Melody Kelly, Beth and Paul Anderson, Sharon Sale, Vanessa Chenevert, Barb Johnson, Laurie and Mark Cawley, Tammy Branham and many other friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 15th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Columbia.
Mass will be held Monday, August 29th at 11:00am at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Illinois. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fairview Heights.
Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
