He was preceded in death by his wife Violet, nee Horr, Schofield. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Charles E. Schofield, John P. Schofield & Lawrence W. Schofield. He is survived by his daughters, Sonja (Mike) Madlinger of Columbia, IL. & Donna (John) Zoeller of Juno Beach, FL., his 4 grandchildren: Justin (Samantha) Myers & Jared Myers both of Columbia, IL., Lindsey (James) Stephens of Tampa, FL. & Evan Zoeller of Daytona Beach, FL., his 2 Great grandchildren: Drake & Cameron Stephens, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. Donald served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Veteran of World War II. Memorials may be made to the AlzheimerÆs Association or Humane Society of Monroe County.
