Donald "Puggy" Rhyne's Obituary
Donald "Puggy" Rhyne, 66 years of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1952, in East St. Louis, IL.
Puggy was a retired Ironworker from Local #392 with 35 years of service. He was a 1970 graduate of Dupo Community High School and he was certified in water and waste water management from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. Puggy enjoyed traveling and reading World War II books. Puggy had attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL., and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda, FL.
Puggy was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Cecelia, nee Kraemer, Rhyne.
Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Rhyne, nee Wiechert whom he married on March 11, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV., his step-son, Joshua (Alicia) Wiechert of Chicago, IL., his two granddaughters, Ellyse and Caraline Wiechert both of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Puggy's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
