Donald Paul Presler's Obituary
Donald was preceded in death by his infant twin brother: Richard Lee Presler, his mother: Hilda C. Presler, nee Kucks, his father: Leland Paul Presler and his son: Mark Curtis Presler. Donald is survived by his wife: Loralee Presler, nee Bruckmann, his daughter: Sharon (James) Bertrand, his grandsons: Christopher and Matthew Bertrand, his granddaughters: Angela (Darren) Beste and Jennifer (Tim) Bruegemann his great grandson: Graden Presler, and his border collie: Kate and his aunt: Maida Streight, he is also survived by other relatives and friends. Donald graduated with the Belleville Township High School class of 1944. He enlisted in the Naval Air Corps in January of 1944, was promoted to Aviation Electians Mate 3rd clas and later served 8 years in the Naval Air Reserves. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Humane Society.
