Mr. Slinkard was preceded in death by his parents: Riley Lee & Lauretta, nee Hale, Slinkard, his wife: Mabel I. Slinkard, nee Krick, and his brother & sister-in-law: Edgar & Pearl Scharf. Mr. Slinkard is survived by his daughter: Nanette (James) Brown, his son: Ronnie Slinkard,his daughter: Sue (John) DeWitt, his daughter: Joann (Harlan) Yother, his son: Paul Lee (Mary Ann) Slinkard, his grandson: Wolfgang Riley Slinkard, plus 10 other grandchildren in various states, his brothers: Gene (Kathryn) Slinkard of Senath, MO., & Loren (Mary Jane) Slinkard of Olney, IL., his sister: Kitty (Joe) Menefee of St. Charles, MO., his brother & sister-in-law: Homer (Dorothy) Etling, his nieces & nephews: David & Deborah Scharf and Charles & Judy Todd, his fellow genealogist & friend: Sandy McBrady, also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives & friends in various states. Mr. Slinkard was a WWII PT Boat Vet & US Navy veteran. Memorials may be made to Zion Evangelical Church in Millstadt, IL. or Millstadt Senior Center.
