Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Riley & Mary Lee, nee Casper, Hood Sr., and his grandson: Dustin Thompson. Donald is survived by his wife of 51 years: Deloris Hood, nee Phillips, daughters: Kathy (Doug) Kohlenberger, Vicky Thompson, & Donna (Randy) Roth, sister: Connie (Steve) Blood, five grandchildren: Chad (Gina) Thompson, Scott (Teresa) Kohlenberger, Brad (Nicole) Thompson, Amy (Jason) Schollmeyer and Tyler Roth, five great grandchildren: Alex and Caleb Kohlenberger, Aubrey and Keegan Thompson, and Gage Thompson, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church in care of Compassion Kids or Hospice of Southern Illinois Capital Campaign.
