Donald R. Karban's Obituary
Donald R. Karban, 71 years old of Smithton, IL., passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1946, in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Karban was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Paderborn, IL. He owned Knotty Pines Tavern in Paderborn, IL. and he had worked at Gossard Garment Factory.
Surviving are his wife, Rosetta Karban, nee Aubuschon, his son, Jeff Karban, his granddaughter, Kloi Karban, Kloi's mother, Cari Varble, his brother, Joe (Rosemary) Karban, his nephew, Joe Karban, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Karban and his mother, Otillia Ann Karban-Schneider, nee Muskopf and his daughter, Dana Ann Karban.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
Services will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., Fr. Marvin Volk, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Paderborn, IL, there will be a luncheon at Karban's Knotty Pines following the interment.
