Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Freddie Joe and Lillian Geneva, nee Eldridge, Hurley, his brother: James Lee Hurley and his mother & father-in-law: Carroll & Belle Hight. He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Janis Hurley, nee Hight, his two sons: Donald Edwin (Lisha) Hurley II of Waterloo, IL., and David Lee Hurley of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Jessica and Brittani, his brother: Fred (Barbara ôBobbieö) Hurley of Cahokia, IL., his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Ronnie Jean Hurley of Iowa, Carolyn (Gary) Schremp of Waterloo, IL., Jerry (Karen) Hight of Freeburg, IL., and James (Beverly) Hight of Okawville, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois
