Don David Buecher's Obituary
Don David Buecher, 73, of Millstadt, Ill., born December 19, 1942 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Ill.
Don was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, loved to ride horses and play golf. He worked at Kerry Ingredients in Millstadt, IL for 40 years where he retired as the Plant Manager.
Don was preceded in death by his parents William K and Helen E, (nee Nosbisch), Buecher, brother, Roger Buecher, brother-in-law, Clifford Bullock, and nephew, Brent Bullock.
Don is survived by his sons, Tim (Nancy) Buecher & Terry Buecher, sister, Patricia Bullock, brother, Henry A. Buecher, sister-in-law, Sherryl Buecher, grandchildren, Elaine (Kenny) Schanuel, Nathan Buecher, Ashley Buecher and fiancé Kenny Kellerman, Clarissa Buecher, Dylan buecher, step-grandchildren, Andrea and Aaron Brandt, Leslie Kueker, Jessy Gentry, and Krystal Simon, 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & many friends.
Memorials may be made to Zion Evangelical Church of Millstadt, IL or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
A Masonic Service will be on Wednesday, May 4,2016 at 7:00 p.m. with Funeral Service immediately to follow at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating.
At Don’s request, he will be cremated after the service.
Inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO., with full military honors on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
