Dolores A. Wright, 87 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on August 16, 2018 at Integrity Health Care of Columbia, Columbia, IL. She was born August 20, 1930, in East St. Louis, IL, daughter of the late August and Elizabeth, nee Carle, Ritter. She was married to the late Orville W. Wright. They were married February 9, 1952, in St. Louis, MO. He had passed away May 3, 2006.
She had retired from Famous-Barr, St. Louis, MO, with over 39 years service. Dolores was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL.
Surviving are two sons, Michael J. (LouAnn) Wright of Belleville, IL, and David A. Wright of Columbia, IL; two grandchildren, Ashley Wright, and Michael Wright; nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 2018, 9:30 am - 11:00 am, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL. Funeral Services will be held at the Church on Monday at 11:00 am, with Pastor Bob Goddard, officiating. Interment will follow in the Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
