Dennis Ralph Schlemmer's Obituary
Dennis Ralph Schlemmer, 69, of Dupo, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, Mo.
Dennis was born in East St. Louis on November 27, 1952. He was a retired US Army Veteran and was the owner/operator of D.S. Hydraulics.
Dennis leaves behind a loving family including his sons, Jonathan (Jen) Schlemmer, Dennis Ryan (Amanda, nee Ritson), daughter, Candace (Jeff) Biggs, and his best friend/rock Debbie King. Grandpa to Lilly Schlemmer, Grayson Ritson, Allie Schlemmer, Acadia Schlemmer, Joshua Biggs, Corey Biggs (Kirsten), Abigail Biggs, Camden Biggs, Hannah Biggs, and great granddaughter Scarlet Biggs who all hold his memories with love.
Dennis loved his life. He enjoyed spending time riding side by sides, shooting guns, reloading ammo, helping family and loving everyone he was around.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Julie, nee Mitchell, Schlemmer, brother, Larry Schlemmer, and sister, Cheryl Thompson.
Dennis will be cremated with a private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to follow.
