He was preceded in death by his parents: Howard & Irene, nee Speichinger, Hamann and his brother: Jerry Hamann. He is survived by his wife: Rosemarie, nee Strecker, Hamann, his daughter: Julie Ann (Bradley) Gaffney, his sons: Jeffrey Scott (Hannah) Hamann & Michael Lacy (Laura) Hamann, his step-son: Kevin Allen (Jaime) Dill, his grandchildren: Reis Alexander Gaffney, Logan Thomas Gaffney, Hannah Rebecca Hamann, Blake Thomas Hamann, Seth Thomas Hamann, Paige Elise Dill & Macie Lynn Dill, he is also survived by other relatives & friends. After the services, cremation will take place. Denny's family request no flowers to be sent, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Belleville Humane Society or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
