Dennis Wayne Hammett, 68, of East Carondelet, Ill., born, March 6, 1947 in St. Louis, MO., passed away, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Myrtle, nee Schultz, Hammett, his daughter, Robin Adams and 6 siblings.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Doris Hammett, nee Peters, his son, Charles Hammett, his step children, Bobby Joe Coonce Jr, Vickie L. Blanquart, Debra A. Hoffmann & Melissa F. Coonce, his sister, Bertha “Sissy”, his brother, Willie Hammett. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Apostolic Worship Center in Dupo, Ill.
Visitation will bel on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., Pastor Dan Batchelor, officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Ill.
