Delsie D Hagan's Obituary
Delsie D Hagan, nee Strait, 87 years of East Carondelet, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 13, 1937 in Viroqua, WI.
Delsie was retired as a case worker for general assistance with the Sugarloaf Township. She enjoyed gambling and casinos, bowling, sewing, playing cards, and crypto quizzes. Delsie loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers, and she taught kids to swim at Hilltoppers Swim Club as well as taught Library School.
Surviving are her children, Diane (Keith) Mann, Rhonda (Freddie) Ford, Kevin Hagan, Kelly (Angie) Hagan, Sr., Ryan Hagan, and Scott Tilley, her grandchildren, Haley Mann, Alysa Mann (Patrick), Monica Miller (John), Chelsea (Pat) Linderer, Thomas Hagan, Kelly (Brooklyn) Hagan Jr., Katie (Harold) Foster, Kenadi Hagan (Matt), and Leo Stein, and her great grandchildren, Madasen, Jackson, William, Peyton, Paisley, Jordan, Julian, and Kambri. She is also survived by nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Hagan, her parents, Rex and Opal, nee Parr, Strait, and her siblings, Conrad Strait, Monte Strait, Neal Strait, Dawnes Sharping, and Alice Tilley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL, and on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, at Leesman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Jim Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Siteman Cancer Center - Washington University CB 1204 7425 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105 .
