Delores M Lang's Obituary
Delores M. Lang, 92 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on June 14, 2023 at Garden Place, Millstadt, IL. She was born June 2, 1931, in New Hanover, IL.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Church, Millstadt, the Zion Sisters In Faith, was a past member of VFW 7980 Auxiliary, is a lifetime member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (with 8000 volunteer hours), and a member of the Dubois Center Volunteers. Delores had been employed at Nobbe Chevrolet and Princess Peggy, and was a homemaker and loving mother. She enjoyed cooking, doing word searches and puzzles, reading, and most of all she loved playing Rummikub.
She is survived by her children, Joyce (Schell) Strother of St. Louis, and John Lang of Wood River, her three grandchildren, Karl Strother, Andrew and Jenna Lang, her brother, Lewis Schuchardt of Waterloo, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Schuchardt; her mother, Christine (Gummerscheimer) Schuchardt; her husband, Harold E. Lang; her three brothers, Leroy, Lester, and Charles Schuchardt; and her sister, Christine (twin of Charles) Schuchardt.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at Zion Evangelical Church, Millstadt, IL, with Pastor Darrell Weber officiating.
