Deborah Lee McQuaid's Obituary
Deborah Lee McQuaid, 70 years of Millstadt, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 22, 1951, in Saint Louis, Missouri.
She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan, enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, but most of all she was very involved in her children's activities and with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Cheryl (Chris) Kirby of Millstadt, Julie (Shawn) Hampton of O'Fallon, and Lester (Chris) Cornelius of Orlando, significant other, Jim Moreland, her three grandchildren, Cameron Kirby, Sawyer Hampton, and Taylor Hampton, her siblings, Karla (Byron) Mitzan, Denise (Donald) Kinne, Colleen (Michael) Kaltenbach, her extended family Karen Swanson, Gail Renick, Gena Davidson, Brenda Bell, Angela Beard, Ray Beard, Sandi Beard, and Vicky Koonley, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowena "June” Piaskowski, Norbert "Pete” Piaskowski, Raymond Beard, and Gerri Beard; two brothers, Matthew Piaskowski and Raymond "Butch" Beard; and her previous husband, Lester McQuaid Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 1, 2022, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, concluding with a brief prayer service at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the American Diabetes Association, the American Lung Association, or the American Heart Association.
