Deborah L. Lawson's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Lawson, 55 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on September 2, 2023 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, IL. She was born October 4, 1967, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late William E., and Dorothy J., nee Cooper, Reynolds, who survives her. She was married to the late Mark A. Lawson. They were married October 24, 2009. He had passed away August 24, 2011.
Deborah had earned her Aerospace Engineering Degree at Parks Air College of St. Louis University and her Mechanical Engineering Degree at SIU - Edwardsville, IL. She had worked as a consultant for Ernst & Young, and was a member of Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL.
Surviving are her mother Dorothy Reynolds of Columbia, IL, aunts, Betty Nakhjovani and Ann Dyer, cousin, David Nakhjovani, along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2023, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, at Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, IL, with Funeral Services at 12:00 pm, following the visitation at the church, with Pastor Jared Parker, officiating. Private Interment will follow in the Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
