Dean Kloth's Obituary
Dean Kloth, 67, of Red Bud, IL, passed away on December 5, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O Fallon, IL. He was born August 8, 1956, in Chester, IL.
Dean worked for Local 520 as a Heavy Equipment operator and loved his job all the way down to the end of the project. When he wasn't working he loved teaching his granddaughters the values of being an outdoorsman, working on his old tractors and enjoying his coffee sessions at the Yak Shack.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Kloth, his mother, Joan Kloth, his two daughters, Leslie Wolter and Ashley (Kerry) Kehrer, his step-daughter, Suzanne (Steven) Pohlman, his two granddaughters, Brooke Wolter and Brinley Wolter, his two sisters, Nancy (Ron) Kellerman and Tina (Chris) Kern, his father-in-law, Max D. Beare, Jr., numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Kloth, his son, Corey Kloth, his son-in-law, Keith Wolter, his mother-in-law, Phyllis Beare, and his brother-in-law, Max D Beare, III.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home - Red Bud, IL. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday December 13, 2023, at Leesman Funeral Home - Red Bud, IL with Rev. Jim Jarvis officiating. Private interment will be held at Paradise Cemetery, Bremen, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110 , St. John's Lutheran School 808 S Main St, Red Bud, IL 62278.
