I have fond memories of Dave, Linda and our young families. Dave and my husband, Jim, were close friends; Dave was in our wedding and Jim was Dave's best man in his. My sincere condolences to you, Linda, and your whole family.

There are so many good memories that I will forever cherish that I would not know where to begin to describe them. We are members of a group of friends that are fading away now year by year that cannot be replaced. Days on the golf course at Triple Lakes, the Acorns, Mystic Oaks, Columbia Golf Club and many more and evenings at our once per month card club involving four families. Years of working with David at the First National Bank of Columbia which became Magna Bank which became Union Planters Bank which is Regions Bank today. Branson, Missouri Summer Vacations with our families, golf junkets to Boonville, Missouri and Rend Lake. Illinois; Caribbean Cruses and so many more fun times together. A friend you could confide in and seek counsel from. I will forever regret I did not visit him more often during his illness. May he rest in peace and find his deserving place in his heavenly home. Not only were Dave and I cousins..I am older by 6 weeks..we also were classmates in grade school...and bus mates as we were driven to separate Catholic High Schools in E. St Louis (Assumption and St. Teresa Academy). It is so hard to lose family members..we are down to 5 out of 15 cousins. Even though our families only had occasional reunions, we were always happy when we ran into each other and could catch up on families and life. He will be missed.
