Mr. Thorne was preceded in death by his parents: George W. & Alice Jane, nee Bass, Thorne, brothers: Tommy & Charles Thorne, and sisters: Mable Brower & Barbara Young. Mr. Thorne is survived by his wife: Jane, nee Francis, Thorne, his daughter: Kim (Michael) Pace of Millstadt, IL., his sons: Gary Edwards of Dupo, IL., & David (Jennifer) Thorne Jr. of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Carrie Lindsay & Dorian Thorne, his great grandchild: Dylan Lindsay, also survived by brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mr. Thorne served in the Army from 1961 - 1967. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, 425 Louisa Ave., Dupo, IL. 62239.
