He is survived by his wife: Linda York, his children: Tim (Lynette) York of San Carlos, CA., Heather (Jon) Shepherd of Caseyville, IL., & Tony Viner, his daughter-in-law: Becky Dickinson of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren: Riley & Jack Shepherd, Nicolas, Michael, Conor & Jake York, Alex Dickinson, Jason Adams, & Jamie Mills, his sister: Doris Miller of Columbia, IL., his sister: Peggy (Ron) Patterson of Cherokee Village, Ark., his brother: Gary (Sue) York of Millstadt, IL., & his sister: Toni (Scott) Marlen of Wichita, KS., his beloved Maltese: Duchess, he is also survived by many relatives & friends. David worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. He loved playing golf & he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
