OBITUARY
David Koch Sr.
David Lee Koch Sr., 66 years of Red Bud, Ill., born June 8, 1951, in Red Bud, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Des Peres Hospital in Des Peres, MO.
David was an explosives technician for the Columbia Quarry Plant 7. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red, Ill., and a member of the Teamsters Local 50.
David was preceded in death by his Father, Louis Koch, Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Koch, nee Imming, his six sons, David Koch, Jr., Brad (Sheri) Koch, Owen Koch, Zach Koch, Seth Koch and Dathen Koch, his grandson, Cody (Brooke) Koch, his mother, Doris Koch, nee Deterding, his four brothers, Gordon Koch, Brian (Donna) Koch, Arlan (Joyce) Koch and Loran (Terri) Koch, his sister, Juli (Mike) Deterding. He is also survived by nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2018, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Koch - Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Ill., and on Monday, February 12, 2018, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Ill., with Pastor Russell Koen and Pastor Mark Nebel, officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
