David was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Orval & Annie Marie, nee Knight, Lamastus, his brothers: Thomas Alden LaMastus & Robert Nicholas LaMastus and his brother-in-law: Virgil Cutter. He is survived by his wife: Alice, nee Schmid, LaMastus, his son: David (Hiroko) LaMastus Jr. of Ollivette, MO., his daughter: Katherine (Glenn) Snuffin of Collinsville, IL., his son: Billy (Kris) Dempsey of Highland, IL., his sisters: Carol Cutter of OÆFallon, MO. & Mary Murray of Missouri, his grandchildren: Allen (Shannon) Lalk, Gregory (Lauren) Lalk, Darren LaMastus, Cory Horstmann, Nathaniel Dempsey, Jonathan & Olivia Dempsey, his great grandchild: Dylan Lalk, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. David retired from Nooter Corporation in St. Louis, MO. after 34 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, IL., he was an avid bowler & belonged to the American Bowling Association, member of the Bowling Hall of Fame, was 11th in the nation with 854 series, and belonged to the East Carondelet Neighborhood Watch. David was a coach in the Khoury League in Dupo, bowling coach at Village Bowl in Cahokia, enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Handyman Club of America.
