David A. Burgdorf's Obituary
David A. Burgdorf, 41 years, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away on May 3rd, 2023 in Columbia, Illinois. He was born September 6th, 1981 in Red Bud, Illinois to Richard Burgdorf and Kathleen Sondag.
He loved games, playing bingo, doing puzzles, and word searches were some of his favorites. He also enjoyed coloring and walking.
Surviving is his father, Richard Burgdorf, brothers; Kevin and Richie Burgdorf, aunts, Luann Buehler and Carol Burgdorf, uncle, Marty, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Sondag and grandparents; George and Irene Sondag and Martin and Alice Burgdorf Sr.
Visitation will be Monday, May 8th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud. Services will be held Monday, May 8th, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud.
In lieu of customary remembrances, we request with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family.
