Darlene E. Devenport, 85 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Monroe County, IL, the daughter of the late Herbert and Amanda, nee Illert, Goss. Darlene had been a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, She enjoyed sewing, painting, puzzles, and quilting. Darlene had been a den mother with the Cub Scouts many years ago. She was married to Harold W. Devenport, who survives her. They were married on November 11, 1949, in St. Louis, MO.
