Mr. Ownby was preceded in death by his parents: Henry Liston & Lavetta Gertrude, nee Forrest, Ownby and his sister: Dathel Mathis. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Mary, nee DeHart, Ownby of Dupo, IL., his daughters: Kim Ownby of Dupo, IL. & Malissa (Don) Shawley of Rogersville, MO., his sister: Dianne Maynard of Paris, TN., he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Mr. Ownby was a United States Navy veteran. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Dupo, IL.
