Dan was incredible. A force of a man with a big heart. He was kind, a loving father, and a great man. I loved that he would call me "dear" and slip the most beautiful sounding French into conversation - his voice was unique but in a comforting way. He always made me feel safe. He will be dearly missed.

What a legend! So inspiring to hear his path in life and the undoubtedly profound impact he’s made in the lives of others around him, including spreading generations of joy playing handball.
