Daniel 'Striper' Mueller's Obituary
Daniel 'Striper' Paul Mueller, 75 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on September 26, 2021 at Columbia, IL. He was born July 27, 1946, in University City, MO, son of the late Elgin and Helen, nee Richt, Mueller.
Dan was a proud member of American Legion Post 581, Columbia, IL. He was the owner of Southern Illinois Striping Co. and was an avid reader. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his loving companion, Stephenie McClenahan of Columbia, IL, along with his fellow Veterans and friends at American Legion Post 581, Columbia, IL.
Interment with military honors will take place at 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Funeral procession will assemble and leave Leesman Funeral Home, Columbia, IL at 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
