Dan always went out of his way to take an interest in others -- an act that is very rare today.

I would not be nearly as successful had Dan not taken an interest in me. For that, I am extremely grateful.

I was also lucky enough to enjoy Dan's antics on the golf course -- laugh with him as his father in law, Bill would offer guidance to his wife, Liz lining up golf shots from all sorts of angles while ducking from balls careening off otherwise innocent obstacles.

A wonderful man you are, Dan -- I miss you!!!

I knew Dan just about all my life and he was a really good guy. He could swat a baseball a mile, even as a kid, and I played Khoury league with him for 4 yrs under his Dad - Tiny, and Vic Reichert. I had a good time and still remember it well. He was always popular, and ended up our High School Class of '72 president. It will feel weird at reunions him not being there. I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say he will be sorely missed. He is gone at way too early of any age, but his life was full. He won't ever be forgotten, and hopefully the pain the family feels now will lessen over time. I'm sure Tiny and him are hugging right now!

To the Haberl Family,
I was fortunate to work with Dan at A-B at Sunset Hills; so, I saw him often. He was always friendly to me. I had the opportunity to play in his foursome in a golf tournament a few years ago. I enjoyed that. Dan was a great person. I'm sorry he had to go so early. Please accept my condolences. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
