Daniel Lloyd Allen's Obituary
Daniel Lloyd Allen, born December 23, 1939 in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Saint Louis University Hospital.
Daniel was a long-time member of Villa Hills Fire Department and devoted his time and services to helping others. He was also a member of the Fire Fighter Association. Daniel was a former member of the Alorton Fire Department. Daniel was retired from his job as a custodian at Holy Trinity School.
Daniel was preceded in death by his Parents, Dewey Allen Jr. and Pearl Allen, nee Schwartz, and Siblings Douglas (Vivian) Allen, Victor (Cathy) Allen, Helen (Skipper) Prigge, Dewey Allen Jr., Edward Allen, and Rosemary Crawford.
He is survived by his Spouse Helen C. Allen, his 2 Sons Steven D. (Angela) Allen and Matthew J. (Jerri) Allen, Grandchildren Matt (Jenny) Arnold, Scott (Angela) Davis and Dominique (Jeremy) McCormick, Great Grandchildren Candyce Paule, Hunter Arnold, Seth Davis, Lilleigh Davis, Parker Davis, Kennedi McCormick and Maci McCormick, 2 Sisters Dorothy (Carl) Price and Betty (Raymond) Snyder, Sister-in-law, Bernice Allen, Brother-in-Law Lloyd (Barbara) Johnson, many Nieces and Nephews, Special Friends James Coleman and Nikki Davis.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at Villa Hills Fire Department, 100 Conniston Drive, Belleville, Ill. 62223.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Villa Hills Fire Department in Belleville, Ill. With Father James Blazine, Officiating
Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
